Āstīka Stops the Sarpa-satra; Royal Closure and Protective Phalaśruti (आस्तीकः सर्पसत्रनिवर्तनम्)

सर्व विस्तरशस्तात भवाझुछंसितुमहति । सर्पसत्रविधानज्ञविज्ञेया: के च सूतज,तात! ये सब बातें आप विस्तारपूर्वक बताइये। सूतपुत्र! यह भी सूचित कीजिये कि सर्पसत्रकी विधिको जाननेवाले दिद्दानोंमें श्रेष्ठ समझे जानेयोग्य कौन-कौनसे महर्षि वहाँ उपस्थित थे

sarvaṃ vistaraśas tāta bhavān uccheṃsitum arhati | sarpasatravidhānajñā vijñeyāḥ ke ca sūtaja ||

शौनक ने कहा—“तात! आप यह सब बातें विस्तार से कहने योग्य हैं। और हे सूतपुत्र! यह भी बताइए कि सर्पसत्र की विधि को जानने वालों में श्रेष्ठ माने जाने वाले कौन-कौन से ऋषि वहाँ उपस्थित थे।”
