द्रोण उवाच विद्य ते भावदोषेण यदर्थमिदमुच्यते | दुष्ट पाण्डवहेतोस्त्वं दोषमाख्यापयस्युत,द्रोणाचार्यने कहा--ओ दुष्ट! तू क्यों ऐसी बात कहता है, यह हम जानते हैं। पाण्डवोंके लिये तेरे हृदयमें जो द्वेष संचित है, उसीसे प्रेरित होकर तू मेरी बातोंमें दोष बता रहा है

Transliteration

droṇa uvāca: vidyate bhāva-doṣeṇa yad-artham idam ucyate | duṣṭa pāṇḍava-hetoḥ tvaṃ doṣam ākhyāpayasy uta ||

Translation

द्रोणाचार्य ने कहा—अरे दुष्ट! तू यह बात क्यों कह रहा है, हम जानते हैं; तेरे अंतःकरण के दोष से ही ये वचन निकल रहे हैं। पाण्डवों के प्रति वैर रखकर तू मेरे कथन में दोष दिखाना चाहता है।
