मैत्रेयागमन चात्र राज्ञश्नैवानुशासनम् । शापोत्सर्गश्न तेनैव राज्ञो दुर्योधनस्य च,मैत्रेय ऋषिने आकर राजा धृतराष्ट्रको उपदेश किया और उन्होंने ही राजा दुर्योधनको शाप दे दिया
maitreya-āgamanaṁ cātra rājñaś caivānuśāsanam | śāpotsargaś ca tenaiva rājño duryodhanasya ca ||
यहाँ मैत्रेय ऋषि का आगमन और राजा धृतराष्ट्र को दिया गया उनका उपदेश भी वर्णित है; और उसी ऋषि द्वारा राजा दुर्योधन को दिया गया शाप भी।
