tam āgatam idaṃ vākyam abravīj jambukas tadā | mṛgarājo hi saṃkruddho na te sādhu bhaviṣyati ||
Anger in a powerful person (here, the ‘king of beasts’) is dangerous; wise conduct is to recognize imminent harm and avoid provoking or approaching such wrath.
Jambuka addresses someone who has arrived and warns that the enraged ‘mṛgarāja’ (lion) will not lead to anything beneficial for him—implying immediate peril if the situation is not handled cautiously.
