न सीदेतामदुःखाहें मा गमो भरतर्षभ । “इस मार्गपर केवल वायु चल सकती है तथा सिद्ध महर्षि भी जा सकते हैं। इस पर्वतराजपर चलती हुई ये दोनों राजकुमारियाँ कैसे कष्ट न पायेंगी? भरतवंशशिरोमणे! ये दोनों रानियाँ दुःख सहन करनेके योग्य नहीं हैं; अतः आप न चलिये'

Transliteration

na sīdetām aduḥkhāhe mā gamo bharatarṣabha

Translation

ये दोनों, जो दुःख की अभ्यस्त नहीं हैं, क्लेश न पायें; हे भरतश्रेष्ठ! आप आगे न बढ़ें। इस मार्ग पर केवल वायु चल सकती है, और सिद्ध महर्षि भी जा सकते हैं; इस पर्वतराज पर चलती हुई ये दोनों राजकुमारियाँ कैसे कष्ट न पाएँगी? हे भरतवंश-शिरोमणे! ये दोनों रानियाँ ऐसे दुःख सहने योग्य नहीं हैं; अतः आप न चलिये।
