स एव विष्णुः सूकरत्वं ह्यवाप क्षोपणीमुद्धर्तुं दैत्यवपुर्निहन्तुम् / हिरण्याक्षं सज्जनानां खगेन्द्र तथा भूमेः स्थापनार्थं च देवः

sa eva viṣṇuḥ sūkaratvaṃ hyavāpa kṣopaṇīmuddhartuṃ daityavapurnihantum / hiraṇyākṣaṃ sajjanānāṃ khagendra tathā bhūmeḥ sthāpanārthaṃ ca devaḥ

वही विष्णु पृथ्वी को उद्धारने, दैत्य-देहधारी शत्रु का नाश करने और हिरण्याक्ष का वध करने हेतु वराह-रूप को प्राप्त हुए। हे खगेन्द्र, सज्जनों के हित और पृथ्वी की पुनः स्थापना के लिए देव ने ऐसा किया।
