भीमरथः केतुमतो दिवोदासस्तदात्मजः / दिवोदासात्प्रतर्दनः शत्रुजित्सो ऽत्र विश्रुतः
bhīmarathaḥ ketumato divodāsastadātmajaḥ / divodāsātpratardanaḥ śatrujitso 'tra viśrutaḥ
केतुमान से भीमरथ उत्पन्न हुआ; उसका पुत्र दिवोदास था। दिवोदास से प्रतर्दन हुआ, जो यहाँ ‘शत्रुजित्’—शत्रुओं को जीतने वाला—के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है।
