Transmission of Bhāgavata Wisdom and Brahmā’s Vision of the Supreme Lord on Ananta

This verse describes Bhagavān manifesting from within the waters, revealing His cosmic, mountain-like form as the shelter of all beings—signifying His transcendence and His role as the source and support of creation.
The Kaustubha jewel is a distinctive mark of Viṣṇu’s supreme divinity; its mention emphasizes that the appearing form is not ordinary but the fully opulent Personality of Godhead.
Use the imagery for meditation: remember the Lord as the inner support of all life, and cultivate steadiness in bhakti by contemplating His protective presence even when He seems “hidden,” like within the waters.
