कुटुम्बभरणाकल्पो मन्दभाग्यो वृथोद्यम: । श्रिया विहीन: कृपणो ध्यायञ्छ्वसिति मूढधी: ॥ १२ ॥
kuṭumba-bharaṇākalpo manda-bhāgyo vṛthodyamaḥ śriyā vihīnaḥ kṛpaṇo dhyāyañ chvasiti mūḍha-dhīḥ
परिवार का पालन करने में असमर्थ वह मंदभाग्य, व्यर्थ परिश्रम करने वाला, श्री-शोभा से रहित कंजूस मनुष्य अपनी विफलता ही सोचता रहता है और मूढ़ बुद्धि होकर गहरी श्वासें भर-भरकर शोक करता है।
