विशेषतश्च संघानां संघधर्मिणां च राजकुलानां द्यूतनिमित्तो भेदस्तन्निमित्तो विनाश इत्यसत्प्रग्रहः पापिष्ठतमो व्यसनानां तन्त्रदौर्बल्यादिति ॥ कZ_०८.३.६४ ॥

Transliteration

viśeṣataś ca saṃghānāṃ saṃghadharmiṇāṃ ca rājakulānāṃ dyūtanimitto bhedas tannimitto vināśa ity asatpragrahaḥ pāpiṣṭhatamo vyasanānāṃ tantradaurbalyād iti

Translation

विशेष रूप से संघों/गणराज्यों और राजकुलों में जुए के कारण फूट पड़ती है और उसी फूट से विनाश होता है। इसलिए अयोग्य का अनुसरण (असत्-प्रग्रह) व्यसनों में सबसे अधिक पापपूर्ण है, क्योंकि वह शासन-तंत्र को दुर्बल कर देता है।
