હે ભદ્ર, તારો મન સર્વકાળ ધર્મમાં સ્થિર રહેશે; અને તારા વંશમાં જન્મનારાઓને દીર્ઘ આયુષ્ય મળશે।
Sage Parasara (narrating a boon/blessing within the dynastic narrative) to Maitreya (as part of the account)
The verse presents dharma as the stabilizing force of the mind and the foundation for auspicious outcomes—especially the well-being and longevity of one’s descendants.
He frames them as tangible and hereditary in effect: steadfastness in dharma for the individual and long life for those born in that person’s lineage.
Even when Vishnu is not named explicitly, the Vishnu Purana treats dharma and orderly sovereignty as operating under Vishnu’s supreme governance, where righteousness aligns the human realm with the cosmic order upheld by Him.
