सामवेद–अथर्ववेदशाखाः, पुराणसंहिता, अष्टादशपुराणानि, विद्यास्थानानि

सर्वमन्वन्तरेष्व् एवं शाखाभेदाः समाः स्मृताः

sarvamanvantareṣv evaṃ śākhābhedāḥ samāḥ smṛtāḥ

આ રીતે દરેક મન્વંતરમાં વેદશાખાઓના આ ભેદો સમાન જ સ્મરાય છે; કાળચક્રોમાં અવિચ્છિન્ન પરંપરાથી સંરક્ષિત રહે છે।
