भार्गवसर्गः, ऋषिवंशाः, वह्नयः (अग्निवंशः), पितृसृष्टिः

पावकं पवमानं च शुचिं चापि जलाशिनम्

pāvakaṃ pavamānaṃ ca śuciṃ cāpi jalāśinam

તેને પાવક કહે છે, પવમાન પણ; તે શુચિ પણ છે—અને ‘જલાશિન’ પણ, જે હવિ ગ્રહણ કરી ભસ્મ કરે છે.
