इति श्रीवामनपुराणे दशमो ऽध्यायः नारद उवाच यदेतद् भवता प्रोक्तं सुकेशिनकरो ऽम्बरात् पातितो भुवि सूर्योण तत्कदा कुत्र कुत्र च

આ રીતે શ્રી વામનપુરાણનો દસમો અધ્યાય પૂર્ણ થયો। નારદ બોલ્યા—“આપે જે કહ્યું કે સુકેશિનના હાથથી સૂર્ય આકાશમાંથી પૃથ્વી પર પાડી દેવાયો, તે ક્યારે બન્યું અને કયા કયા સ્થળે બન્યું?”
