इत्युक्ताः शङ्करः क्रुद्धो वदनं घोरचक्षुषा निर्दग्धुकामस्त्वनिशं ददर्श भगवानजः

આ રીતે કહ્યા પછી શંકર ક્રોધિત થયા; ભયંકર આંખોથી મુખ ફેરવી સર્વને દહન કરવાની ઇચ્છા ધરાવી. બીજી તરફ ભગવાન અજ (અજન્મા) સતત જોતા રહ્યા।
