so'pi rājā varaṃ labdhvā śāpaṃ ca tadanaṃtaram | na jagāma gṛhaṃ bhūyaścakāra sumahattapaḥ

તે રાજાએ વર મેળવ્યા પછી તરત જ શાપ પણ મેળવ્યો; છતાં તે ઘેર ન ગયો, ફરી અત્યંત મહાન તપ કર્યું।
