Procedure for the Earthen Liṅga Worship

मनुना सौजीव इति देवतान्यासमाचरेत् । असौ योवसर्पतीति चाचरेदपसर्पणम्

Transliteration

manunā saujīva iti devatānyāsamācaret | asau yovasarpatīti cācaredapasarpaṇam

Translation

મનુએ ઉપદેશેલ “સૌજીવ…” મંત્રથી દેહ પર દેવતા-ન્યાસ કરવો જોઈએ. ત્યારબાદ “અસૌ યોऽવસર્પતી…” સૂત્રથી અપસર્પણવિધિ કરી વિઘ્નકારક શક્તિઓને દૂર હાંકી, જેથી શિવપૂજા નિર્વિઘ્ન ચાલે.
