शिवाग्निरिति संप्रोक्तस्तेन दग्धं शिवाग्निजम् । कपिलागोमयं पूर्वं केवलं गव्यमेव वा

Transliteration

śivāgniriti saṃproktastena dagdhaṃ śivāgnijam | kapilāgomayaṃ pūrvaṃ kevalaṃ gavyameva vā

Translation

આ અગ્નિને “શિવાગ્નિ” કહેવામાં આવી છે; તે શિવાગ્નિથી જે દગ્ધ થાય તે શિવાગ્નિજ પવિત્ર ભસ્મ બને છે. પ્રથમ કપિલા ગાયનું ગોમય દહન કરવું, અથવા માત્ર શુદ્ધ ગોમય જ।
