उपमन्युकुमारस्य क्षीरार्थ-प्रार्थना तथा शिवप्रसाद-निबन्धनम् | Upamanyu’s Longing for Milk and the Doctrine of Shiva’s Grace
मद्भक्तो भव विप्रर्षे मामेवार्चय सर्वदा । ददामि सर्वं भद्रन्ते त्यज रुद्रं च निर्गुणम्
madbhakto bhava viprarṣe māmevārcaya sarvadā | dadāmi sarvaṃ bhadrante tyaja rudraṃ ca nirguṇam
હે શ્રેષ્ઠ બ્રાહ્મણઋષિ! મારા ભક્ત બનો અને સદા માત્ર મારી જ પૂજા કરો. હે ભદ્ર! હું તમને સર્વ આપું છું; તેથી રુદ્રને માત્ર નિર્ગુણ માનવાની કલ્પના ત્યજી, મારા સગુણ ઉપાસ્ય સ્વરૂપનું આશ્રય લો.
