ભયંકર મૃગ સમાન, ગુપ્ત રીતે વિચરનાર, પર્વતોમાં નિવાસ કરનાર—તું પરમ દૂરથી અહીં આવ્યો છે. હનુ પર તીક્ષ્ણ પવિ (શસ્ત્ર) જોડી, હે ઇન્દ્ર, શત્રુઓને વિખેરીને પ્રહાર કર; આક્રમણકારોને હાંકી કાઢ.

હે દેવો, અમે કાનોથી મંગળમય જ સાંભળીએ; હે યજત્રો, આંખોથી મંગળમય જ નિહાળીએ. સ્થિર અંગો અને સુદૃઢ તનુ સાથે તમારું સ્તવન કરતાં, દેવહિત આયુષ્યને અમે પ્રાપ્ત કરીએ.
