कस्तमिन्द्र त्वावसो मर्त्यो दधर्षति श्रद्धा इत्तेमघवन् पार्ये दिवि वाजी वाजं सिषासति
હે ઇન્દ્ર! તારા અવસ (રક્ષા-સહાય) માટે કયો મર્ત્ય તને ધૃષ્ટતાથી નજીક આવવા સાહસ કરે? હે મઘવન! શ્રદ્ધા વડે જ, દૂરના દિવ્ય લોકમાં, વાજી (બળવાન ઉપાસક) પોષણના વાજ (પુરસ્કાર)ને જીતવા ઇચ્છે છે.

मघोनः स्म वृत्रहत्येषु चोदय ये ददति प्रिया वसु तव प्रणीती हर्यश्व सूरिभिर्विश्वा तरेम दुरिता
હે મઘવન! વૃત્રહત્યાના સંઘર્ષોમાં અમને નિશ્ચયે પ્રેર; જે પ્રિય વસુ અર્પે છે તેમને અનુકૂળ થા. હે હર્યશ્વ! તારી પ્રણીતિ (માર્ગદર્શન) વડે, દાતાર સૂરિઓ સાથે, અમે સર્વ દુરીતો (આપત્તિઓ)ને પાર કરીએ.

यावित्था श्लोकमा दिवो ज्योतिर्जनाय चक्रथुः आ न ऊर्जं वहतमश्विना युवम्
જેમ તમે બંને, સ્તુતિયોગ્ય, મનુષ્યો માટે દિવ્ય જ્યોતિ રચી છે, તેમ હે અશ્વિનો! તમે અમારે માટે ઊર્જા અને પોષણ વહન કરો.
