અમારા ગીરો (સ્તુતિગાન) તેજસ્વી જ્વાલાવાળા, દર્શનીય (અગ્નિ) પાસે અહીં આવે. નમસ્કાર સાથે અમારા યજ્ઞો પુરુવસુ—સમૃદ્ધ, બહુ પ્રશંસિત—ને સહાય માટે નજીક પહોંચે.

इन्द्रो मह्ना रोदसी पप्रथच्छव इन्द्रः सूर्यमरोचयत् इन्द्रे ह विश्वा भुवनानि येमिर इन्द्रे सुवानास इन्दवः
ઇન્દ્રે પોતાની મહિમાથી, પોતાના પરાક્રમે, દ્યાવા-પૃથિવીને વિસ્તારી; ઇન્દ્રે સૂર્યને પ્રકાશિત કર્યો; ઇન્દ્રમાં જ ખરેખર સર્વ ભૂવન સ્થિર છે; ઇન્દ્રમાં જ વહેતા સોમ-બિંદુઓ (ઇન્દવઃ) નિવાસ કરે છે.

હે અઙ્ગ! ન તો પ્રાચીન કાળમાં, ન તો હવે, તારા કરતાં વધુ વીર કોઈ જન્મ્યો છે; ધનમાં કોઈ તને વટાવે નહિ, કોઈ રીતે નહિ, યુદ્ધમાં પણ નહિ.
