It recommends wearing a twelve-faced rudrākṣa (dvādaśāsya rudrākṣa) specifically at the throat/neck region (kaṇṭha-deśa).
Āditya (Surya, the Sun) is said to be continually pleased when the twelve-faced rudrākṣa is worn.
The verse presents a devotional principle: sincere, embodied religious observance (dhāraṇa—wearing a sacred bead) is linked with divine favor, here expressed as the Sun deity’s ongoing satisfaction.
