Brahmin Right Conduct: Morning Remembrance, Bathing, Purification, and Tarpaṇa Method

तर्पयित्वा पितॄन्याति माधवस्य निकेतनम् । तस्मात्पुण्याहकं प्राप्य तर्पयेत्पितृसंचयम्

tarpayitvā pitṝnyāti mādhavasya niketanam | tasmātpuṇyāhakaṃ prāpya tarpayetpitṛsaṃcayam

પિતૃઓને તર્પણ કરીને મનુષ્ય માધવ (વિષ્ણુ)ના ધામને પામે છે. તેથી શુભ દિવસ પ્રાપ્ત થતાં પિતૃસમૂહને તર્પણ કરવું જોઈએ।
