Brahmā’s Puṣkara Sacrifice: Ṛtvij System, Sāvitrī’s Reconciliation, Tīrtha-Catalogue, Śrāddha & Initiation Rites, and Vrata Fruits
asmadabhyarthitā devi tatra yāhi mudānvitā | gauryuvāca | ahaṃ ca te priyā devi sarvadā vadasi svayam
Gaurī (Pārvatī) (explicit: “gauryuvāca”)
Primary Rasa: shringara
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Type: celestial_realm
Sandhi Resolution Notes:
A request is made to the Goddess to go somewhere joyfully, and then Gaurī responds by affirming her closeness—stating she is dear to the Goddess, as the Goddess herself repeatedly says.
It emphasizes mutual affection and recognition: Gaurī recalls the Goddess’s own words (“you yourself always say”), grounding divine intimacy in remembered affirmation rather than mere assertion.
It highlights the value of honoring commitments and spoken assurances—relationships are strengthened when affirmations are consistent and remembered, and when requests are met with willing joy.
