शौनक उवाच । जयंत्याः सूत माहात्म्यं कदा सा क्रियते जनैः । कथयस्व मयि त्वं वै पोतः संसारसागरे
śaunaka uvāca | jayaṃtyāḥ sūta māhātmyaṃ kadā sā kriyate janaiḥ | kathayasva mayi tvaṃ vai potaḥ saṃsārasāgare
શૌનક બોલ્યા—હે સૂત! જયંતીનું માહાત્મ્ય શું છે અને લોકો તે વ્રત ક્યારે કરે છે? મને કહો; સંસારસાગરમાં તમે જ મારી નૌકા બનો।
