Gaṅgā-māhātmya
अर्घ्यं द्रव्यविशेषेण गंगातोयेन यः सकृत् । मागधप्रस्थमात्रेण ताम्रपात्रस्थितेन च ॥ २१ ॥
arghyaṃ dravyaviśeṣeṇa gaṃgātoyena yaḥ sakṛt | māgadhaprasthamātreṇa tāmrapātrasthitena ca || 21 ||
જે ગંગાજળથી નિર્ધારિત દ્રવ્યો સાથે એકવાર પણ અર્ઘ્ય અર્પે—માગધ પ્રસ્થ જેટલા પ્રમાણમાં અને તાંબાના પાત્રમાં રાખીને—તે કહેવાયેલું પુણ્ય પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે.
