Śāpaprāpti (Receiving a Curse) — Mohinī Narrative
sā tvaṃ hariṇaśāvākṣi devakāryārthamāgatā | tanna siddhaṃ varārohe sa prayāto'dhunābhavam || 27 ||
Sanatkumara (contextual narrator in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna (compassion)
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights the idea of daiva-kārya (divine purpose): when a sacred mission remains unfulfilled, the karmic/narrative consequence is separation and departure, urging vigilance in completing dharmic duties.
Indirectly, it underscores sincerity and follow-through in divine service—bhakti is not only emotion but also faithful completion of what is undertaken for the divine.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this line; the verse is primarily narrative and dharma-oriented, emphasizing purposeful action (kārya) and its outcome (siddhi/asiddhi).
