कार्तिकः प्रवरो मासो विष्णोश्चापि प्रियः सदा । अव्रतो हि क्षिपेद्यस्तु मासं दामोदरप्रियम् ॥ २३ ॥
kārtikaḥ pravaro māso viṣṇoścāpi priyaḥ sadā | avrato hi kṣipedyastu māsaṃ dāmodarapriyam || 23 ||
કાર્તિક માસ સર્વોત્તમ છે અને સદા વિષ્ણુને પ્રિય છે. દામોદરને પ્રિય આ માસને જે વ્રત વિના પસાર કરે, તે તેને વ્યર્થ જ ગુમાવે છે।
