Determination of Tithi for Fasts, Parana, and Pitri Rites
तस्माद्विप्रा न कर्त्व्या विद्धाप्येकादशी तिथिः । यथा हंतिपुरा पुण्यं श्राद्धं च वृषलीपतिः ॥ ४४ ॥
tasmādviprā na kartvyā viddhāpyekādaśī tithiḥ | yathā haṃtipurā puṇyaṃ śrāddhaṃ ca vṛṣalīpatiḥ || 44 ||
અતએવ હે વિપ્રો, ‘વિદ્ધા’ એકાદશી તિથિનું વ્રત કરવું નહીં; જેમ વૃષલીપતિ નગરનું પુણ્ય નાશ કરે છે, તેમ જ તે શ્રાદ્ધનું પુણ્ય પણ બગાડે છે।
