द्रौ्णिं कृपं चैव कुरूंश्व मान्या- जछरैर्विचित्रैरभिवाद्य चैव

drauṇiṁ kṛpaṁ caiva kurūṁś ca mānyān | akṣaraiḥ vicitrair abhivādya caiva ||

પછી તેણે દ્રોણપુત્ર અશ્વત્થામા, કૃપાચાર્ય તથા કુરુઓના માન્ય વડીલોને યથોચિત પ્રણામ કર્યો; સુગઠિત અને મર્યાદિત શબ્દોથી અભિવાદન કરીને ધર્માનુસાર શિસ્તથી આગળ વધ્યો।
