Bhīṣma–Arjuna Strategic Engagement at Virāṭa’s Frontier (भीष्मार्जुनयुद्धम्)
ततः प्रववृते युद्ध पृथिव्यामेकवीरयो: । रणमध्ये द्वयोरेवं सुमहल्लोमहर्षणम्,इसके बाद उस रणभूमिमें भूमण्डलके इन दोनों अनुपम वीरोंका ऐसा भयंकर संग्राम हुआ, जो रोंगटे खड़े कर देनेवाला था
tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṃ pṛthivyām ekavīrayoḥ | raṇamadhye dvayor evaṃ sumahallomaharṣaṇam ||
પછી તે રણભૂમિ પર તે બે અદ્વિતીય વીરોનું યુદ્ધ શરૂ થયું. રણમધ્યે તેમનો સંઘર્ષ અત્યંત ભયંકર અને રોમાંચ ઊભો કરનાર હતો।
