अथ वत्वाचार्यमुख्येन शरान् सृष्टाज्छिलाशितान् । न्यवारयच्छितैर्बाणैरर्जुनो जयतां वर:,तदनन्तर विजयी वीरोंमें श्रेष्ठ अर्जुनने आचार्यप्रवर द्रोणके द्वारा चलाये हुए शानपर तेज किये हुए बाणोंको अपने तीखे सायकोंसे नष्ट कर दिया
atha vṛttvācāryamukhyena śarān sṛṣṭāc chilāśitān | nyavārayac chitair bāṇair arjuno jayatāṃ varaḥ ||
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—પછી આચાર્યોમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ દ્રોણે શિલા પર ધાર ચઢાવેલા જે બાણ છોડ્યા, તેમને વિજયીઓમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ અર્જુને પોતાના તીક્ષ્ણ બાણોથી કાપી અટકાવી દીધા.
