चक्ररक्षश्न शूरो वै मदिराक्षोडतिविश्रुत:
cakrarakṣaśna śūro vai madirākṣo 'tiviśrutaḥ
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—એ શૂરવીર ‘મદિરાક્ષ’ નામે સર્વત્ર પ્રસિદ્ધ હતો અને ‘ચક્રરક્ષશ્ન’ તરીકે પણ ખ્યાત—ચક્રસમાન શસ્ત્રનું રક્ષણ/પ્રયોગ કરવામાં પ્રવીણ.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
