मत्स्यमर्थपतिं पार्थ विराट समुपस्थितम् । पश्यामि तूर्यमध्यस्थं दिशो नश्यन्ति मे तदा
vaishampāyana uvāca | matsyam arthapatiṁ pārtha virāṭa samupasthitam | paśyāmi tūryamadhyasthaṁ diśo naśyanti me tadā ||
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—જ્યારે હું મત્સ્યોના ધનપતિ રાજા વિરાટને પાર્થ (અર્જુન) દ્વારા સેવા કરવામાં આવતો જોઉં છું, અને પાર્થને વાદ્યોના મધ્યમાં બેઠેલો જોઉં છું—ત્યારે જ મને દિશાઓ અદૃશ્ય થઈ જાય છે.
