किरीटं सूर्यसंकाशं यस्य मूर्द्धन्यशोभत । वेणीविकृतकेशान्त: सोडयमद्य धनंजय:

Transliteration

kirīṭaṃ sūryasaṅkāśaṃ yasya mūrdhny aśobhata | veṇī-vikṛta-keśāntaḥ so 'yam adya dhanañjayaḥ ||

Translation

વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—જેનાં મસ્તક પર સૂર્યસમાન તેજસ્વી કિરીટ શોભતું હતું, એ જ ધનંજય (અર્જુન) આજે વેણી/ચોટલી ધારણ કરવાથી વાળનાં છેડા વિકૃત થયેલા દેખાય છે.
