भद्रवटगमनम् — स्कन्देन महिषदानवनिग्रहः
Bhadravaṭa Procession and Skanda’s Neutralization of Mahiṣa
त्रिविध॑ संस्थिता होते पडच पञठ्च पृथक् पृथक् । मुष्णन्त्यत्र स्थिता होते स्वर्गतो यज्ञयाजिन:
trividhā saṃsthitā hy ete pañca ca pañca pṛthak pṛthak | muṣṇanty atra sthitā hy ete svargato yajñayājinaḥ ||
માર્કંડેય બોલ્યા—આ પંદરેય ત્રણ જુદા જુદા દળોમાં ગોઠવાયેલા છે; દરેક દળમાં પાંચ-પાંચ, અને પરસ્પર અલગ. તેઓ પૃથ્વી પર રહીને પણ જાણે સ્વર્ગમાંથી યજ્ઞ કરનાર પુરુષોની યજ્ઞ-સામગ્રીનું અપહરણ કરી લે છે.
