Transliteration

mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | guruṁ nivedya viprāya tau mātāpitarāv ubhau | punar eva sa dharmātmā vyādho brāhmaṇam abravīt ||

Translation

માર્કંડેયે કહ્યું—ધર્માત્મા વ્યાધે પહેલાં બ્રાહ્મણ-ગુરુને પોતાના માતા-પિતા—બન્ને વિશે નિવેદન કર્યું; પછી તે ફરી તે બ્રાહ્મણને બોલ્યો।
