कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः
Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma
करभारभयाद् भीता गृहस्था: परिमोषका: | मुनिच्छञाकृतिच्छन्ना वाणिज्यमुपजीविन:
karabhārabhayād bhītā gṛhasthāḥ parimoṣakāḥ | municchadākṛticchannā vāṇijyam upajīvinaḥ ||
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—ભારે ભાર વહન કરવાના ભયથી ડરેલા તે લૂંટારૂઓ ગૃહસ્થનો વેશ ધારણ કરતા. મુનિ જેવા છદ્મ રૂપમાં છુપાઈ તેઓ વેપારને જીવનોપાર્જન બનાવતા—અને એ જ આડમાં ચોરી-લૂંટ ચલાવતા।
