Description of Hiraṇyapura and the Nivātakavacas
अत्रामृतं सुरै: पीत्वा निहित॑ निहतारिभि: । अत: सोमस्य हानिश्च वृद्धिश्वैव प्रदृश्यते
atrāmṛtaṃ suraiḥ pītvā nihitaṃ nihatāribhiḥ | ataḥ somasya hāniś ca vṛddhiś caiva pradṛśyate ||
અહીં દેવતાઓએ શત્રુઓનો સંહાર કરીને અમૃત પીધું અને જે અવશેષ રહ્યું તે આ જ સ્થાને મૂકી દીધું. તેથી સોમમાં હાનિ અને વૃદ્ધિ—ક્ષય અને વધારો—બંને દેખાય છે.
