Pātāla-varṇana (Nārada’s Description of the Netherworld) / पातालवर्णनम्
भवन वारुणं पश्य यदेतत् सर्वकाउ्चनम् । यत् प्राप्य सुरतां प्राप्ता: सुरा: सुरपते: सखे
bhavan vāruṇaṁ paśya yad etat sarva-kāñcanam | yat prāpya suratāṁ prāptāḥ surāḥ surapateḥ sakhe, mahendra-mitra |
હે મહેન્દ્રમિત્ર! જો, આ વરુણદેવનું ભવન છે—ચારેય બાજુ સર્વથા સુવર્ણમય. હે દેવાધિપતિના સખા, આ સ્થાને પહોંચીને જ દેવગણ સાચા અર્થમાં દેવત્વ પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે.
