Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly
पुरं कुरूणां संवृत्तं द्रष्टकामं जनार्दनम् । सबालवृद्धं सस्त्रीकं रथ्यागतमरिंदम,शत्रुदमन जनमेजय! उस समय भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका दर्शन करनेके लिये बालक, वृद्ध तथा स्त्रियोंसहित कौरवोंका सारा नगर सड़कपर आ गया था
puraṃ kurūṇāṃ saṃvṛttaṃ draṣṭukāmaṃ janārdanam | sabālavṛddhaṃ sastrīkaṃ rathyāgatam ariṃdama śatrudamana janamejaya ||
શત્રુદમન જનમેજય! તે સમયે જનાર્દન (શ્રીકૃષ્ણ)ના દર્શનની ઇચ્છાથી કૌરવોનું આખું નગર—બાળકો, વૃદ્ધો અને સ્ત્રીઓ સહિત—રસ્તાઓ પર ઉમટી આવ્યું હતું।
