कृष्णेन विदुरं प्रति आगमन-हेतु-निवेदनम् / Krishna explains the purpose of his coming to Vidura
धर्मशास्त्रातिगो मूढो दुरात्मा प्रग्रह॑ गत: । अनेय: श्रेयसां मन्दो धार्तराष्ट्रो जनार्दन
dharmaśāstrātigo mūḍho durātmā pragrahaṃ gataḥ | aneyaḥ śreyasāṃ mando dhārtarāṣṭro janārdana |
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા— હે જનાર્દન! ધાર્તરાષ્ટ્ર (દુર્યોધન) મોહગ્રસ્ત અને દુષ્ટાત્મા છે; ધર્મશાસ્ત્રોની મર્યાદા ઓળંગી તે પોતાના હઠના પાશમાં પડ્યો છે. જે ખરેખર શ્રેયસ્કર છે તે ગ્રહણ કરવામાં તે મંદ છે; તેને કલ્યાણના માર્ગે લાવવો અશક્ય છે.
