विदुरस्य कृष्णं प्रति शमोपदेशः

कृतार्था भुज्जते दूता: पूजां गृह्नन्ति चैव ह । कृतार्थ मां सहामात्यं समर्चिष्यसि भारत
kṛtārthā bhuñjate dūtāḥ pūjāṃ gṛhṇanti caiva ha | kṛtārthaṃ māṃ sahāmātyaṃ samarcayiṣyasi bhārata ||
દૂતોનો નિયમ એવો છે કે તેઓ પોતાનું કાર્ય સિદ્ધ થયા પછી જ ભોજન કરે છે અને પૂજા-સન્માન સ્વીકારે છે. તેથી, હે ભારત! મારું પ્રયોજન સિદ્ધ થયા પછી, મારા મંત્રીઓ સાથે મને યથોચિત રીતે સન્માનિત કરજે.
