गृद्धों राजा धृतराष्ट्र: स्वधर्म नानुपश्यति । वश्यत्वात्‌ पुत्रगृद्धित्वान्मन्दस्यान्वेति शासनम्‌

Transliteration

gṛddho rājā dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ svadharma nānupaśyati | vaśyatvāt putragṛddhitvān mandasyānveti śāsanam ||

Translation

યુધિષ્ઠિરે કહ્યું—રાજા ધૃતરાષ્ટ્ર લોભમાં ડૂબેલા છે; તેઓ પોતાનો ધર્મ હવે જોતા નથી. પુત્રમોહના વશ થઈ તેઓ સદા પોતાના મૂર્ખ પુત્ર દુર્યોધનની આજ્ઞાનું જ અનુસરણ કરે છે.
