Adhyaya 60: Self-Assertion, Daiva, and the Rhetoric of Inevitability (उद्योग पर्व)
भयानकानि विषये व्यालादीनि न सन्ति मे । मन्त्रगुप्तानि भूतानि न हिंसन्ति भयंकरा:
bhayānakāni viṣaye vyālādīni na santi me | mantragoptāni bhūtāni na hiṃsanti bhayaṃkarāḥ ||
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—મારા વિષયમાં સર્પ વગેરે ભયાનક વ્યાળાદિ પ્રાણીઓ નથી. અને જો કોઈ ભયંકર ભૂતાદિ હોય પણ, તો મંત્રોથી નિયંત્રિત અને રક્ષિત હોવાથી તેઓ હિંસા કરતા નથી।
