Drupada’s Instruction to the Purohita for the Kaurava Embassy (द्रुपदोपदेशः दूतप्रेषणम्)
द्विजेषु वैद्या: श्रेयांसो वैद्येषु कृतबुद्धयः । कृतबुद्धिषु कर्तार: कर्तषु ब्रह्मवादिन: २ ।।
dvijeṣu vaidyāḥ śreyāṃso vaidyeṣu kṛtabuddhayaḥ | kṛtabuddhiṣu kartāraḥ kartṛṣu brahmavādinaḥ || 2 ||
દ્વિજોમાં વિદ્વાન શ્રેષ્ઠ છે; વિદ્વાનોમાં સિદ્ધાંતમાં સ્થિર બુદ્ધિવાળા શ્રેષ્ઠ છે. સ્થિર બુદ્ધિવાળાઓમાં તે મુજબ આચરણ કરનાર શ્રેષ્ઠ છે; અને એવા કર્તાઓમાં બ્રહ્મવાદી (બ્રહ્મવેત્તા) સર્વોચ્ચ છે।
