Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Duryodhana Dialogue on Peace and the Refusal of Compromise
प्रतीपमिव मे भाति युयुधानेन भारती । व्यस्ता सीमन्तिनी ग्रस्ता प्रमृष्टा दीर्घबाहुना
pratīpam iva me bhāti yuyudhānena bhāratī | vyastā sīmanta-nī grastā pramṛṣṭā dīrgha-bāhunā ||
મને તો એવું લાગે છે કે યુયુધાન (સાત્યકી)એ ભરતવંશીઓની આ સેના ને ઉલટી દિશામાં ફેરવી નાખી છે—જેમ પુરુષે તિરસ્કૃત કરેલી સ્ત્રી, જેના વાળની માંગ બिखરી ગઈ હોય, દીર્ઘબાહુ વીરના હાથમાં પકડાઈ રગદોળાઈ હોય; તેમ આ સેના પણ ગૂંચવાઈને વિપરીત દિશામાં ભાગતી દેખાય છે.
