Sainyasaṅgraha and Bhāga-Vyavasthā (Forces Assembled and Rival Allocations) | सैन्यसंग्रह-भागव्यवस्था
ज्येष्ठस्य पाण्डुपुत्रस्य भागो मद्राधिपो बली । तौ तु तत्राब्रुवन् केचिद् विषमौ नो मताविति
sañjaya uvāca |
jyeṣṭhasya pāṇḍuputrasya bhāgo madrādhipo balī |
tau tu tatrābruvan kecid viṣamau no matāv iti ||
જ્યેષ્ઠ પાંડુપુત્ર યુધિષ્ઠિરના ભાગે બલવાન મદ્રાધિપતિ નિર્ધારિત થયો છે; યુધિષ્ઠિર જ તેની સાથે યુદ્ધ કરશે. પરંતુ આ વહેંચણી સાંભળીને કેટલાકે ત્યાં કહ્યું—‘અમારા મત પ્રમાણે આ બે સમશક્તિમાન નથી।’
