पदातिसंघान् रथसंघान् समन्ताद् ह्यात्तानन: काल इवाततेषु: । प्रणोत्स्यामि ज्वलितैर्बाणवर्ष: शत्रूंस्तदा तप्स्यति मन्दबुद्धि:
sañjaya uvāca |
padātisaṅghān rathasaṅghān samantād hyāttānanaḥ kāla ivātateṣuḥ |
praṇotsyāmi jvalitair bāṇavarṣaiḥ śatrūṃs tadā tapsyati mandabuddhiḥ ||
સંજય બોલ્યો—જ્યારે હું કાળ સમાન મોં ફેલાવી ઊભો રહી, પ્રજ્વલિત બાણોની અવિચ્છિન્ન વર્ષાથી ચારે તરફ શત્રુસેનાના પદાતિ ઝુંડ અને રથીઓના સમૂહોને ચીરવીને ચુરચુર કરી નાખીશ, ત્યારે મંદબુદ્ધિ દુર્યોધન સંતાપથી દહશે।
